Post-Apocalyptic Action-RPG RoadOut Launching Today on PC and Consoles

DANGEN Entertainment and developer Rastrolabs have announced that RoadOut has released today on Nintendo Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
 

RoadOut is a story-driven post-apocalyptic action-RPG fusing 2.5D rotatable dungeon crawling with retro-style car exploration and vehicular combat.

Players step into the role of Claire, a mercenary for hire who races, fights, hacks, and crashes her way through the ruins of The Dead Zone. In her quest to uncover her connection to A.I. she’ll uncover conspiracies, clash with gangs, track down relics, and personalize her ride (and body) for maximum style and destruction.
 

A final, action-packed trailer has been revealed alongside its launch. The trailer highlights RoadOut’s mix of twin stick action, on-wheels exploration and rock n’ roll style racing (yes, like the SNES game).

Players can look forward to puzzle-filled dungeons, overworld exploration on wheels, arcade style racing, upgrades and mods, all wrapped in a retro post-apocalyptic world seething with style and synthwave.

STORY
 

After a great cataclysm, what’s left is a post-apocalyptic world dominated by an A.I. with rebel groups that take refuge in a desert area known as The Dead Zone. Claire survives in this world by executing black market contracts for local leaders involving delivery, sabotage and murder. The Dead Zone, now not so dead, is occupied by three rival factions: The Wasteheads, The SaibaKuran, and Order of the New Code. While investigating her past, Claire uncovers strange evidence that links her existence to the origin of the A.I.

GAMEPLAY

Part exploration on-wheels, part dungeon crawler, RoadOut shifts between retro-style behind-the-wheel action and on-foot brawling. Switch from turbo-charged chases to twin-stick shootouts. Drive into run-down city hubs, take on underground side quests, and blow up dangerous hideouts. Players can upgrade both Claire and her ride with body mod and vehicular customization, while scouring the world for items to craft their own items, weapons and upgrades.

Explore the World on Wheels

The world is no longer the same. All that remains is The Dead Zone, a large artificial biome created to sustain a new era of humanity. Drive through The Dead Zone doing jobs, getting paid and running roughshod over the scum guarding the secrets of the world. Join factions, fight rival gangs, barter items and take up quests to earn clout while progressing Claire’s story.

You can customize Claire with body mods, cybernetics, and an intricate skill tree system. Upgrade her car to traverse different terrain and withstand the effects of weather, night and day.

Equipped with weapons and other tech, Claire’s car is your best friend against dangers in The Dead Zone. Hungry animals are ready to rip you apart. Murderous bandits will rob your lifeless corpse. Prepare for the worst with your car and its arsenal of weapons.

The world may have come to an end, but who said we can’t have fun? Ride or die in red-hot races to be the best on the post apocalyptic circuit. 10 tracks in multiple biomes, innumerable races, all of them equal measures deadly and glorious. Indulge in extra game modes such as destruction derby-style racing and twisted battle arena, all while roading out to a thumping synthwave soundtrack.

Indie Dev Monoii Studio Announces Cozy Idle Management game ‘Bottled By Bears’

 Indie developer Monoii Studio has announced Bottled By Bears, a cozy idle management game where players help a family of bears run their honey farm. The game is heading to Steam in 2026, with a free demo arriving next month

In Bottled By Bears, you open beepacks to discover bees. Better bees (rarer, higher level, shiny) make better honey that sells for more, and you use that money to buy more packs and upgrade your farm. Rinse and repeat as your collection grows and your business expands.

Alongside the management loop, there’s a collection side and a decoration side. Track down every bee in the catalogue (shinies included) and personalize your farm layout however you like. Flowers grow dynamically based on which bees live in your hives, so your field changes shape as your collection does.

Ahead of its launch in Europe, North America, the Middle East, and North Africa, Racing Master has also received featured pre-registration recommendations from both the App Store and Google Play. Racing Master will feature a diverse lineup of tracks that combine world-famous real-world racing circuits with city-inspired street courses. Players can race through iconic locations including Chicago, Amsterdam, Barcelona, San Francisco, the Alps, Sicily, Red Bull Ring, and Indianapolis, delivering a thrilling mix of urban street racing and professional circuit competition. 

To celebrate its  launch, Racing Master will feature a limited-time opening car pool headlined by the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ (LB834) ’19, Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera ’11, and Toyota Sprinter Trueno GT-Apex (AE86) ’85.
