Chibig studio’s haunting new adventure is ready for delivery on Steam and Nintendo Switch with a 15% launch discount for the launch week. Fans of Mika and the Witch’s Mountain on PlayStation and Xbox will have to wait a few months to join the party.

For the first time in the studio’s history, the main release will be followed by a completely free update in the following months that will expand the content and hours of gameplay: The hidden side of the mountain.

There is an open position at the local delivery company for anyone who wants to earn a few coins by perfectly (don’t wet or break) delivering packages for everyone on the island. Wait, you need a new broom to take you to the top of the mountain? That’s a fluke!

Delivering packages will keep you busy most of the time, but this island offers so much more. Have you ever wondered what it would be like to run through ancient platforming-ruins, explore the heart of the mountain like in a Zelda-style dungeon, or simply fish on a magic broom? GUNDAM BREAKER 4 Celebrates the series’ 11th Anniversary with new story details & teases demo at Anime Expo 2024

IRVINE, Calif. – June 18, 2024 – Get into the world of Gunpla with GUNDAM BREAKER 4, as the game franchise blending the joy of building custom Mobile Suits with the thrill of taking them into battle celebrates its 11th anniversary this month. Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. is revealing more story and world details and helping fans get caught up as they gear up for the first numbered sequel in more than 6 years. Fans attending Anime Expo® 2024 can be among the first to try the game, with demos available at Bandai Namco booth #2406. The legendary hack-and-slash action and model building game takes place in a not-too-distant future where hobbyist builders use simulations to create custom suits and fight them in virtual battles. Players collect loot by breaking off pieces during combat, then use those pieces to build new, more powerful hybrid creations using the game’s customization options to take on more difficult challenges. The series features an engaging take on the GUNDAM universe. The new story trailer reveals more details and also highlights how, for the first time in franchise history, the game will feature English VO in addition to the original Japanese. 
 
In the story of GUNDAM BREAKER 4, players take on the role of an aspiring Gunpla hobbyist as they participate in the beta test of the revamped Gunpla Battle Simulator, renamed GUNPLA Battle Blaze: Beyond Borders or GB4 for short. They meet two other aspiring Gunpla enthusiasts, Tao and Lin, and form a clan to compete in the globally popular virtual action hub. As they participate in battles, they encounter new friends and rivals, growing their clan’s popularity, and pursuing the goal of developing enough skills to earn an invite to the Battle Tournament, the biggest event of GB4. Along with Tao and Lin, protagonists such as Reco, the AI character that delivers news and hosts events, Mister Gunpla, the commentary and emcee for GB4 events and Misa, the veteran who led the Ayato Shopping District Gunpla team in GUNDAM BREAKER 3 and prevented a cyberterrorist from dropping a satellite station onto Earth, will all have a part in the game’s story. 
 
GUNDAM BREAKER 4 will let players customize their Gunpla with more than 250 base kits, parts that can be acquired by defeating enemies and battles that will feature Gunpla of different grades. Fight through missions to hack, slash and shoot through hordes of enemy mechs, breaking off their parts to collect and upgrade builds. The game introduces an all-new feature to the series, where players will be able to use two different weapons for unique combos in their quest for the best parts to build the perfect Gunpla. In between battles, players access a robust mecha garage where they can customize their creations with new parts as well as paint, decals, and weathering to make the ultimate mecha expression for Gundam fans. An all-new feature in the game, Diorama Mode, lets players construct elaborate scenarios with a variety of backgrounds, environmental elements, and special effects, and place and pose their Gunpla creations as highly articulable models to create memorable scenes.

Vivid Knight

This Upcoming game on Steam has all the cuteness of a mobile game paired with the dungeon crawl adventures found in early MMOs.

Vivid Knight fits its name and reunites the modern gatcha with it’s fantasy-based ancestor (the MUD).

It’s character designs (varied and colorful as the name implies) works well with the graphics that accompany the randomly-generated dungeons that are the base of the game.

Mixing and matching the crystals that represent characters let you fight mobs and move through the dungeon, moving your party and the story along.

Vivid Knight’s building on the respected genre of dungeon crawler may revive the fun that nerds in ages past have enjoyed for themselves, and bring the 8-bit style of game into a new era.

Overall Aesthetic: The gems and art style are cute, with good color choices!

Gameplay: As someone who like randomized dungeons, this is one that drew my eye: I like how some rooms are optional, and if you don’t want to do something, a whole bunch of room types have option to not engage.

Naruto To Boruto: Shinobi Strikers

Yesterday, Bandai Namco revealed the newest DLC character to be added to Shinobi Strikers. Naruto Uzumaki in the Sage of Six Paths mode from his fight against Kaguya will be available to players in 2021. Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Strikers was originally released on August 31st 2018 and is still the most recent video game title from the Naruto universe. It is also the first in a long line of video games to allow you to create your own unique Naruto universe character. One of the primary draws of the DLC is that each new added character provides your unique character with new apparel to wear, weapons to wield , and moves to learn. This lets the player combine the abilities and attributes of all their favorite characters into one powerful ninja of their own. This new feature combined with the team-battle gameplay sets Shinobi Strikers apart from past Naruto titles.

Believe It

Shinobi Strikers is very unlike previous Naruto games. Not only are the game’s new features unique to this title, there are unfortunately some classic features that are stripped. For example, Shinobi Strikers has no narrative or story mode. There isn’t a scripted adventure for your character to go on. Rather than developing an elaborate single-player experience, Shinobi Strikers focuses on multiplayer. Players are expected to individualize themselves by fleshing out their playstyle. Whether you want to use a unique character or a character from the anime is up to you. Gameplay consists of 4 vs. 4 team matches where players go head to head against each other on a relatively large map. Each character in the game is given a special role. There are Attack, Ranged, Healing, and Defense characters. A well-balanced team would develop a strategy to make proper use of all these roles. Players can also enjoy different game modes. These include flag battles, base battles, and combat battles.

The Ninja Way

Much like the DragonBall Xenoverse series and Jump Force (both produced by Bandai Namco) Shinobi Strikers wants to generate excitement for its players by letting them create their own character that utilizes elements from characters in an existing universe. This lets the player live out the fantasy of what their own original character would be like. However, unlike Xenoverse and Jump Force, there’s no story arc that comes with the character creator. So if you don’t really enjoy the gameplay, you probably won’t feel like you got your money’s worth after purchasing this game. The DLC does add great content. There are plenty of new characters and loads of new customization options for your character. But these can get pricey at $30, $30, and $15 for each season pass on top of the $50 base game. If you’re a fan of Naruto and you enjoy co-op fighting games, you might really like Shinobi Strikers. But if you’re looking for a fighting game that has a narrative, look elsewhere.
