Advance sales for gamescom, which is open to all from 18 to 21 August, are in full swing. After day tickets for private visitors for Saturday were already no longer available in the online Ticket Shop, the same now also applies for the gamescom Friday: there is nothing left. The private visitor day tickets for 19 August are sold out in the online Ticket-Shop. So, those who want to be involved in the world’s largest event for interactive entertainment should hurry up and secure their ticket for Thursday or Sunday in the online Ticket Shop for gamescom now. Games fans can purchase a maximum of five tickets daily. Remainder contingents for all days open to the public are still available at Saturn, but only while stocks last. For those who were unable to secure a day ticket for Friday or Saturday in the advance ticket sale but do not have time to attend gamescom on any other day, afternoon tickets are available for Friday and Saturday. Admission is expected to commence from approximately 2:00 p.m. onwards. However, queues are to be expected because admission is dependent on the visitor circulation, i.e. the volume of visitors leaving the fair grounds.
Reserved ticket contingent: family tickets
The family ticket is oriented to families with a maximum of two parents or two legal guardians (e.g. parents, uncle, aunt or a friend authorised to act as a legal guardian) and at least two children between the ages of 7 and 11. The family ticket is only offered for advance sale and is reserved for families up to and including Sunday, 14 August 2016. However: the reserved allocation of family tickets for gamescom on Saturday is running low. There are only a few family tickets available from the Ticket Shop for gamescom Saturday. The purchased family ticket must be converted into admission tickets at the gamescom box offices on location. The composition of the family is also checked here. To make sure the admission process is as stress-free as possible and to allow direct access to the family & friends area and to other especially family-friendly exhibits, we recommend using Entrance South.
New: gamescom day ticket and public transport ticket are two separate tickets
New this year is the separation of the day ticket and public transport pass for the public transport associations for Rhine-Sieg (VRS) and Rhine-Ruhr (VRR). Those who purchase their day tickets through the online Ticket Shop will in future receive two documents: the admission ticket for gamescom and the public transport ticket for arrival at and departure from the trade show. The public transport ticket is only valid in combination with the gamescom day ticket. Both documents should be carried with you for arrival and departure and for admission to gamescom.

Trade visitor tickets: Trade visitor tickets are available for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of gamescom in the online Ticket Shop.
