Players follow George, an ageing dreamer who finally finds the courage to pursue the life he always wanted. Watch the Reveal Trailer Here

Meet George, an old dreamer with an extraordinary gift that lets him transcend through music. After a lifetime of standing still, he breaks free from routine and opens the store he always wished for.   MR. RECORDS is an uplifting adventure where every vinyl transports you into a world of memories and emotion, where you will jump, slide, and move though psychedelic landscapes in time with the music.

Alongside his loyal dog Buzz, George manages the record store, with every day providing new vinyl to unlock and sell, trying to deliver the perfect music to match the tastes of his colourful customers and becoming part of their stories. When the shutters come down and the store closes for the night, the records come alive. Each track transforming into a playable rhythmic trip through George’s imagination. Some songs will make you smile. Others will hit far deeper the moment the needle drops, reminding you that it’s never too late to finally start living.

Key Features

  • Step Inside the Music: Every record George plays becomes a fully playable rhythm journey through surreal dream worlds inspired by memories, emotions, and moments from his life. Run, jump, slide, dodge, and chain actions together in sync with the music across 40+ handcrafted levels.
  • Run Your Own Record Shop: Manage a growing vinyl store filled with quirky customers, hidden stories, and musical riddles. Learn each record, recommend the perfect album, unlock new stock, and turn George’s tiny dream shop into a place where music changes lives.
  • Every Record Tells a Story: Meet colourful characters and uncover George’s memories through music, photographs, notes, and emotional discoveries from his past. Some songs are joyful. Others reveal regrets, lost love, and the life he never truly lived.
  • A Soundtrack Worth Living In: Explore a huge range of original music styles including funk, progressive rock, hip-hop, electro, world music, and 80s pop. Featuring 45(??) original records composed by the developers themselves.
  • Relax in George’s Bedroom Hub: Between musical journeys, unwind in George’s personal bedroom above the shop. Review memories, track progress, take calls, and spend quiet moments reflecting on the story and the music shaping your adventure.
  • Endless Variety Beyond the Beat: MR. RECORDS constantly introduces new gameplay twists, from rhythm battles and surreal mini games to environmental changes, visual disruptions, chase sequences, and side activities with George’s loyal dog, Buzz.
  • A Rhythm Adventure About Life Itself: More than a music game, MR. RECORDS is a heartfelt story about dreams, memory, regret, and discovering it’s never too late to finally start living.

Charles Bardin, Co-Founder and Creative Director, Glee-Cheese Studio, said:

“Music has a unique power. One song can instantly transport you back to a specific moment, a person you loved, or a memory you thought was lost forever. MR. RECORDS was born from that feeling. We wanted to create a game that celebrates not only music itself, but the stories, emotions and moments we attach to it throughout our lives. George’s journey is about rediscovering joy, embracing change, and finding the courage to finally chase the dreams you’ve spent years putting aside. We cannot wait for players to drop the needle and discover those stories for themselves. “

Leo Zullo, Managing Director, Wired Productions, said:

“We publish games from amazing people with stories that deserve to be heard, and MR. RECORDS immediately struck a chord with us. Beneath the brilliant rhythm gameplay is a genuinely moving story about life, memory and human connection. Glee-Cheese has created something wonderfully uplifting, imaginative and deeply personal. It’s a game that reminds us why music matters, and we’re incredibly proud to welcome Charles and the entire team to the Wired family. “

Former Elder Scrolls Online Developers (Sackbird Studios) Reveal Debut Game HIJINKS HIGH

Sackbird Studios today revealed its debut title, Hijinks High, a chaotic first-person multiplayer party game about causing chaos and turning a school upside down with your friend. It’s currently in development for PC via Steam and Epic Games Store as well as consoles.

Announced alongside a brand-new reveal trailer, Hijinks High invites you and up to five friends to relive the glory days of schoolyard mischief as you sneak, scheme, prank, and cause as much mayhem as possible before the final bell rings.

Sackbird Studios was founded by former leads and key contributors from The Elder Scrolls Online development team. When the ambitious AAA project Blackbird was cancelled (as reported by Bloomberg) and hundreds of people lost their jobs, a handful of them decided to bet on each other and build a studio of their own. Independent, employee-owned, and self-funded, Sackbird exists for one reason: the freedom to make the games they want, on their own terms.

“My job is to make sure this team gets to keep making exactly what they want to make,” said Adam Hafez, CEO of Sackbird Studios. “Hijinks High has the kind of personality you only get from people making something purely because they love it. This is just the beginning, and we’re in it for the long haul.”

Hijinks High plays out over a single school day, but don’t expect a normal schedule. Every period is its own kind of organized chaos, and behaving is never on the lesson plan.

The whole school is your playground, and nothing in it is safe from you. It’s you and your friends against the school, out to cause as much chaos as possible. Grab it, place it, hurl it. Lockers, dodgeballs, jetpacks. If it isn’t nailed down, it’s part of your arsenal. And that’s before your own bodily functions join the fun! You’re all on the same side, technically, which is exactly what makes turning on each other so tempting. The only rule that matters is the one you’re breaking: cause maximum chaos, and don’t let the teachers catch you doing it.

Of course, staying conscious is its own event. Crush pizza, slam sodas, chug milk, and inhale every questionable snack you can find to stack up buffs and keep your energy from bottoming out. But your body keeps the receipts. Overdo it and you’re fighting a screaming bladder, rolling nausea, and a very real chance of passing out cold before the day’s even half over.

Then the bell rings, and there’s only one way out: the bus. Grab your friends, make a run for it, and try to get home in one piece.

Watch the reveal trailer here

Key Features

  • Online Multiplayer Mayhem – Grab up to five friends and transform an ordinary school day into a playground of chaos.
  • The School Is Your Sandbox – Explore a fully interactive school packed with objects, gadgets, and opportunities for mischief around every corner.
  • Fuel Your Shenanigans – Eat, drink, and power up with a range of food and beverages that provide gameplay buffs while introducing unpredictable side effects.
  • Survive the Day – Manage your energy, stomach, bladder, and overall wellbeing as you attempt to make it to the final bell in one piece.
  • Pranks, Props, and Pandemonium – Pick up, throw, move, and experiment with countless objects throughout the school. From lockers and lunch trays to dodgeballs and jetpacks, every prop has the potential to create unforgettable chaos.
  • Endless Emergent Chaos – Combine physics, player creativity, and environmental interactions to ensure every match tells its own story.

Wishlist Hijinks High today and prepare to unleash absolute chaos when Sackbird Studios’ debut title arrives on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
