Indie developer DevFrog is pleased to announce that Frog Island, a point-and-click, cozy creature-collecting life sim over 3 years in the making, has launched on PC via Steam. Start your new life as a caretaker for an island of frogs in this cozy creature-collector! Build your dream island, discover magical wildlife, and uncover the island’s many hidden secrets to try and piece together the past life you’ve forgotten somehow.

Premise:

Waking up on a deserted island, you are greeted by a mysterious woman who asks you to take care of her frogs while she is away. However, she vanishes the next day, leaving you with only a hand-written note and some old tools. With nowhere to go, you have but two simple tasks:

  • Escape Frog Island
  • Accept the role of caretaker of Frog Island

Serving as a spiritual successor to classic creature-collection games like Neko Atsume, Frog Island invites players into a charming, hand-crafted world to build their dream sanctuary, collect unique frogs and wildlife, and uncover the island’s forgotten secrets.
