Serpent’s Gaze blends punishing co-op third-person action with the creeping build-creation of roguelikes. Blessings from deities, gifts from your patron and strange relics can be utilized on your pilgrimage as you shape unique builds on each run. Create a character that thrives on quick kills thanks to Aspect of the Plague, which gives you temporary stat points when you kill a foe. Supplement it with blessings that increase the duration of buffs and upgrades that scale with your stats. Or, don the Aspect of the Bold to gain damage for each point of health missing to start building a character made for revenge. Every run is unique thanks to a “Curse” system that applies stacking difficulty modifiers to your runs, from invading enemies, to minibosses that will hunt you down. Survive the deserts and ruins that belong to the nomadic Majin, fight through the cathedrals inhabited by the proud Attar’Esh and take down the brutal bosses you will encounter throughout your journey.  

You play as a scion – given life by the withering tree god Magnolia, with the sole purpose of vanquishing the opposing gods and usurpers who currently rule the lands. Learn more about the secrets of the desert and the truth behind your patron in a story that subtly unfolds as you play. There is only one way to make the desert bloom again: violence.

Buy junk in bulk, hunt for rare antiques, sort and repair items, and gradually transform a humble stand into a thriving thrift shop. The game combines shop management, crafting, RPG-style skill progression, and open-ended life sim elements into a single cohesive experience.

Cutout Village launches demo on Steam and unveils new trailer at Six One Indie Showcase

Spanish indie studio DevilishGames, has released the demo for Cutout Village on Steam. The announcement comes alongside a new trailer showcased during the Six One Indie Showcase.
 

The demo is now available and will be playable until the end of the upcoming Steam Next Fest, which will take place from June 15th to June 22nd. This trial version includes a full level from the story mode where players can experience the game’s core mechanics based on cutting, folding, and gluing paper crafts to shape a small village. In addition, buildings created within the game can be downloaded as PDF files to assemble them in real life.
 

Cutout Village is a narrative simulation and management game in which players build and restore cities through paper craft mechanics. The goal is to recover the family home, revitalize the village, and provide it with services and natural spaces, in a proposal that revives the aesthetic and spirit of traditional paper cut-outs popular in the 1960s.
 

The full version of the game will feature more than 50 different paper crafts, a story mode of approximately 8 hours of gameplay, and a free mode for building cities without restrictions. Platforms: Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation and Xbox Release Date: Second half of 2026.
