Father Son Gaming Tradition

Every Father’s day in this house, My son and I play a 90s Playstation game called ‘Twisted Metal 2’. Ken ususally wins 90% of the games we play. In my opinion no Twisted Metal after that came close to the fun, feel, and replayability of TM2. If you can play for hours and not know where time goes, well, that’s the mark of a classic game.

Here’s Video of My son and I battling it out in a ‘secret level’ on TM2. I’m Spectre. (This Game Played in 2010) The tradition continues.

The Latest Call of Duty Coming Nov. 4 Features Harington as the Face of the Enemy

London, UK – 10th June, 2016 – Activision Publishing, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Activision Blizzard, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATVI), announced today that Kit Harington will be featured in the upcoming Call of Duty®: Infinite Warfare, scheduled for release 4th November. The role marks a dramatic shift for the popular actor as he portrays the face of the enemy in the new Call of Duty game in development by Infinity Ward.

“Kit is an amazing talent and the consummate pro,” said Taylor Kurosaki, narrative director, Infinity Ward. “Our story is about an epic showdown of opposing forces and Kit immersed himself into the role and truly became the embodiment of the enemy, the Settlement Defense Front. We can’t wait for fans to see Kit play an entirely different kind of character.”

To lend additional support to the production, Activision and Infinity Ward worked closely with director Guy Ritchie, who is familiar with the Call of Duty ® franchise, having helmed the acclaimed live-action trailer “Surprise” for Call of Duty®: Black Ops II.

“Guy Ritchie is a friend of the franchise, so it was great to have him back to work with us, assisting in bringing Kit Harington’s character to life in Infinite Warfare,” added Dave Stohl, studio head, Infinity Ward. “It meant a lot to us to develop the role into everything it could be. We’re excited about the performance Kit delivered and can’t wait to get it out to the public. We’re committed to delivering a compelling story with rich character depth and this was a special opportunity to add to our fantastic cast.”

Intuitive destruction and dynamic weather ensure that no battle is ever the same. For even more gameplay possibilities, carve a path through walls and buildings, take down your enemies in creative ways, and leave your mark on the terrain around you through intuitive destruction. Through your actions, the pristine world around you will change into a battle-scarred landscape, changing the world forever.

With dynamic weather you will need to adapt your tactics to weather changes as the elements play a part in the battle. Playing the same map on a bright day, in heavy fog, or rain will impact what you see and hear, forcing you to adapt your play style on an ever-changing battlefield.

Operations introduces a completely new way to play multiplayer. In Battlefield 1 will you play a series of interconnected battles across multiple fronts. Play a sequence of battles where your actions have consequences beyond a single match, as you try to conquer territory or push back your attackers.

At those times when you feel all is lost, call in the Behemoths – the largest fully player-controlled vehicles ever seen in Battlefield. Roam the battlefield and rain fire on your enemy to break their defenses. All-out war never felt so epic. Take control of the Armored Train, Air Ship, or the Battleship to dominate the battlefield across land, air, and sea.

“With Battlefield 1 we’re looking to deliver the most dynamic shooter ever. We want to make sure that no battle is ever the same for the players, and with the introduction of Operations, we’re giving the fans variety for game play and creativity,” said Aleksander Grøndal, Senior Producer, DICE. “Plus, with the new Behemoths, only in Battlefield 1 can you bring an Air Ship to a dogfight.”

World Of Tanks

Summer Football – World of Tanks

June 5, 2016 — Keep your ears peeled for the ref’s whistle because the special in-game event Tank Football 2016 will be taking to the field from Friday June 10. In this event, which will be on for nearly a month, 3-vs-3 teams compete to score the most goals in a seven minute match. With no feet, players must use their tank’s gun to blast the ball around the pitch and into the opponent’s net. During Tank Football 2016, all players will be credited the unique T-62a Sport (T-62a S) with a free Garage slot. To join the event, all you have to do is select your T-62a S and click the Battle! button. Looks like fun!

Tank Football 2016 puts its own twist on the beautiful game. During matches, your tank will be incapable of damaging or destroying another vehicle. However, you can shoot the tracks of your opponent’s tank and ram their vehicle to immobilize them. With the enemy out of action, this is the perfect time to break out your tekkers with a special football consumable—Turbocharger—temporarily speeding up your vehicle to reach that final third.

There are three stadiums to play in: Himmelsdorf Arena, Stade Eiffel, and Old Tankford. Tank Football 2016 will also let you tackle new battle missions; go it alone or platoon with up to three teammates. You can even deck your tank out with a range of customization emblems and flags of the countries taking part in this summer’s major European football event.

Additionally, there will also be a tank football tournament held. The registration period for it starts June 1 and will last until June 15. All you have to do is build a team of 3 players then prove your tank football skills. The four best teams get one year of Premium Account time and a Type 59 tank for each member. They will also have the chance to compete against the 4 best CIS teams for a chunk of a $5,000 prize pool.

At the end of the event, the T-62a S, Garage slot and flags of the countries taking part in Euro 2016 will be removed from players. However, any medals and emblems earned will remain with you as a memento of the event.
