Character-collection RPG ‘Genesis War’ Launching Worldwide April 28th
LINE Games has announced that ‘Genesis War,’ a character-collection RPG developed by Meerkat Games , will officially launch globally on Google Play and the Apple App Store on Tuesday, April 28th.
‘Genesis War’ is a mobile character-collection RPG based on the legendary Korean IP ‘The War of Genesis,’ blending strategic turn-based combat with a deeply immersive narrative.
‘Genesis War’ has already garnered 500,000 pre-registrations worldwide with strong participation across the U.S., Thailand, and Europe since early this year. Following this momentum, the game soft-launched in Canada, Australia, and Indonesia on Tuesday, April 14th.
The global launch delivers a modernized reimagining of the franchise, honoring the iconic characters, combat, and narrative of the original while enhancing immersion through trend-driven gameplay refinements.
The lineup features 69 diverse characters at launch including fan-favorite icons like Iyolin and Karls. This extensive roster is designed to evoke nostalgia for the original series while delivering a rewarding experience of collection and progression.
