Stunlock Studios has published their latest Dev Update discussing V Rising’s next steps after it’s hugely successful Early Access launch which has sold over 1 million copies and seen 150,000 concurrent users in it’s first weekend! As with all Early Access titles, there is a still a lot of work to do but the Stunlock Studios team are getting fully prepared for the journey ahead:

Oxford, May 23rd, 2022 – Sniper Elite 5 – As part of a covert US Rangers operation to weaken the Atlantikwall fortifications along the coast of Brittany, Karl makes contact with the French Resistance. Soon they uncover a secret Nazi project that threatens to end the war before the Allies can even invade Europe: Operation Kraken. It’s Karl’s mission to take out the high ranking Nazi officers and end Operation Kraken once and for all.
Based upon real world locations from France in 1944 the new game maps are the largest and most immersive in the franchise’s history with the new traversal system offering players an even greater sandbox of options when it comes to taking out their targets. You can even invite a friend to help you on your mission with enhanced co-operative gameplay options.
Sniper Elite 5 continues the franchise’s unparalleled tactical sniping experience complete with incredible ballistics and enhanced kill cam taking the genre-defining feature to the next level. New customization options allow you to adjust your rifle, other weapons and ammo to suit the mission and your play style.
Rebellion, one of the world’s most successful video games developers and publishers, has today release a new Sniper Elite 5 video that reveals further details about the stealth options that will be available to players when the game is released on May 26th. Offering insight from the development team as well as from the game’s military advisor and motion capture artist Paul Biddiss, the new Spotlight trailer features interviews and gameplay footage showcasing the new traversal, sneaking and takedowns in Sniper Elite 5, including new non-lethal options. Paul Biddiss, the military advisor and action coordinator for a number of high-profile movies and TV shows, provided his expertise to the Sniper Elite 5 development team as well as being the motion capture artist for Karl Fairburne, helping to ensure the highest possible level of authenticity to his movements and takedowns. Speaking about his involvement in the game Paul said: “All the takedowns are realistic to the training that was given to SOE operatives… everything is realistic. There is no embellishment.”
The new video also gives details of the other stealthy options open to Karl including new traversal mechanics which open up hidden areas of the maps as well as giving the player alternative routes to approach their objectives. The player will also have to consider the audible distance of both their weapon and ammo when taking a shot if they want to remain undetected.
For Sniper Elite 5 the player will have a host of non-lethal options at their disposal including the ability to incapacitate the enemy with non-lethal takedowns and ammunition. These options provide the player with even greater scope to approach each mission and game scenario in a way that best suits their playstyle and their objective.

In order to acquire the resources to rebuild, you must tame the wilderness, found endless settlements, and create supply networks while providing a good living for the beavers, lizards, harpies, and humans under your rule.
The game is currently available in Early Access on the Epic Games Store, and the Epic version of Against the Storm has received an update today revamping Trade Routes and introducing a new roguelite mechanic in the form of Timed Orders.
Timed Orders are challenging time-sensitive requests that provide large rewards if succesful but cause the permanent loss of reputation if they fail, encouraging players to experiment with different playstyles and production chains to achieve the objective.
Meanwhile, Trade Routes have been reworked into an export and diplomacy system, where nearby settlements procedurally generate requests for deliveries in exchange for Amber — a unique resource used to unlock new perks and technologies. Trade route offers increase as your relationship with settlements improve, and the goods take time to reach their destination, requiring the player to balance the cost and time of sending a caravan versus the rewards obtained.

Phoenix, Arizona (May 24, 2022) – Razor Edge Games has teased big surprises in store for 2022, and the studio has unveiled a partnership with Epik Prime to bring fans a collection of NFTs based on the world of Eden Falling.
For those who may be unfamiliar, Eden Falling is an innovative and pioneering gaming experience, bringing traditional turn-based tabletop role-playing game (RPG) mechanics into the digital world. Players will have near-limitless freedom to create their own adventure through The Afterfall in the wake of a catastrophic asteroid impact.
Razor Edge Games wants its mission to be understood: “We are focused on pushing the boundaries of what games can be, particularly when it comes to the intersection between video games and traditional tabletop gameplay, not just making a quick buck by leaning on well-trodden gaming conventions.”
However, blazing new trails within the industry is time-consuming and costly. As such, Razor Edge Games has always sought to secure the necessary funding to take care of its team and bring many of our team on board full-time while simultaneously delivering a finished, polished version of Eden Falling to players in a way that keeps the studio’s uncompromising creative vision intact.
This partnership with Epik Prime will open up a new revenue stream that will enable the studio to achieve both of those goals and the team is thrilled at the prospect of being able to expedite the development process on Eden Falling using the funds from this new venture.
Razor Edge Games wants to make it clear that when these NFTs are released in the near future, they will exist outside of the game and do not, in any way, represent a pay-to-win structure being introduced to Eden Falling. These art pieces are simply another way for audiences, both new and old, to engage with the lore of the game’s universe in a fresh way.
Every NFT purchased will go towards sustaining Razor Edge Games as an independent studio and owners of the NFTs may also receive exclusive cosmetic rewards inside Eden Falling when it receives a full release, including a virtual display of their NFT collection in their domicile, weapon skins, and more. Leuven, Belgium, Monday 23rd 2022: Happy Volcano is excited to lift the lid – or the soft-top, if you prefer – on forthcoming top-down racer You Suck at Parking’s ™ frantic and frenetic multiplayer mode.
In development for Xbox, PC, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation, You Suck at Parking ™ is the world’s most extreme parking experience and the only racing game where, inventively, the goal is to stop. Play charges players with racing against the clock as they dash, drift, and ultimately drag their handbrakes as they slam into parking spots in quick time. The top-down racer will feature more than 100 wild levels with ever-increasing difficulty.
The previously unannounced multiplayer mode will allow eight players to face each other in a free-for-all fiesta that transforms the game’s pedal-to-the-metal action into a full-on parking party.

Backstory: From December 2006 until December 2008 I coordinated a team of 7-20 people (varied from month to month) in the extensive modification of an online computer video game known as Star Trek: Legacy.
This required top notch people skills in handling different talents, skill sets, and personalities from people across the world via the Internet. Our project was released in October 2007, and still, in 2022, gets several downloads a day.
I stepped down from the top position in December 2008, but continue to this day (2022) as a consultant. Our project, known as The Ultimate Universe, has garnered Tens of Thousands of downloads, and is a success story. ‘Chris Jones Gaming’ is ongoing with gaming industry news of the day.
Does Chris Jones Still Game? Moving Forward, I would very much like to ‘Make a Game’.
Would it be Science Fiction? Likely Yes.

Go to curse forge, click on “Get desktop” on top row. Download the version that’s best for your computer.

Click on the box that says minecraft. Once you do, it will appear on the left bar as the dirt icon.
Next, click “create custom profile”
Name your modpack and set the base settings!
Choose your preferred version. Some versions will have more or less mods than others, so your pickings may be limited if you choose later versions.
Click the button that says Forge.
Click “Add more content”, and go wild!!!
If your computer/PC/Laptop isn’t made for games, it’ll be best to keep the number of mods low, otherwise your gaming device of choice might overheat.
