Independent studio Horsemen Four Productions has officially announced “The Void”, a challenging wave-based survival horror first-person shooter. The game draws its thematic inspiration from the movie “The Mist” and spiritual theology. Players are trapped in a hostile environment where survival hinges on precise combat against an unrelenting horde of nightmarish creatures.
Developed solely by Jeffy Zachariah, The Void is a love letter to classic games that defined the survival horror genre. It strips away all modern gameplay conveniences – you only have one weapon and resource spawns are limited. Think Devil Daggers meets survival horror – an experience that demands both quick and tactile movements, careful resource management and planning, combined with tense moments where every decision is a calculated risk.
