Assetto Corsa Rally: Early Access adds Monte-Carlo stages and two new legendary rally cars with 0.3 Release

505 Games and Supernova Games Studios in technical partnership with KUNOS Simulazioni have announced the addition of Monte‑Carlo rally stages as the last major step in Assetto Corsa Rally’s Early Access program!

Monte-Carlo Rally

For the first time ever in a rally title, players will experience fully laser‑scanned Monte-Carlo Rally Stages, delivered with uncompromising precision that captures the character, road geometry, and technical challenge that make this area legendary in rallying.

The Monte Carlo Rally is famous for unpredictable weather, featuring snow, ice, and dry asphalt. It tests drivers’ skills and adaptability making it one of the most challenging rallies in the world. This iconic location is being delivered as two fully laser-scanned stages, La Bollène-Vésubie, Col de Turini (18 Km) and Sisteron (13 Km).

La Bollène-Vésubie, Col de Turini – 18 km: One of rally’s most storied mountain stages, La Bollène-Vésubie, Col de Turini is defined by relentless elevation changes, narrow passages, and a near‑endless flow of tight hairpins and off‑camber corners. Mechanical sympathy, throttle control, and absolute precision are essential to mastering this unforgiving route.

Sisteron – 13 km: In contrast, Sisteron delivers a fast, flowing test of commitment and rhythm. Featuring wide, smooth roads and long, open corners, this 13 km stage emphasizes high speed direction changes, critical braking zones with limited visibility and precise pace-note timing. Average speeds remain high throughout, but its deceptive rhythm punishes over‑commitment.

Two New Cars Added to the Garage

To help drivers face the new Monte‑Carlo challenge, the update introduces two iconic and competitively proven rally cars:

  • Lancia Fulvia Coupé 1.6 HF Gr. 4 – FWD Featuring a narrow‑angle 1.6L V4 producing 115–130+ HP, the Fulvia HF famously won the 1972 International Rally Championship and the Monte‑Carlo Rally.
  • ŠKODA Fabia RS Rally2 – 4WD A modern FIA Rally2-spec machine powered by a 289 HP 1.6L turbo engine, celebrated for winning its competitive debut at the 2022 Lausitz Rally.

A Breakthrough in Rally Weather Simulation: Dynamic Snow

This update introduces the first dynamic snowy weather condition ever seen in a rally game. Mirroring real Monte‑Carlo conditions, drivers can experience a stage starting with dry shunshine, though snowy covered mountains.

Unlike traditional rally titles—where snow appears only in fixed areas—Assetto Corsa Rally allows snowfall anywhere on the stage when realistic atmospheric conditions are met.

Dynamic weather takes in consideration specific rules:

  • Snow begins when it is raining and temperatures fall below 0°C
  • Temperature varies with location, time of day, and altitude
  • Tarmac grip decreases with cold surfaces

Snow is currently exclusive to both Monte‑Carlo stages.

New Winter and Snow Tyre Compounds

To support the challenging mountain conditions, the update adds also New winter and Snow tyre compunds including the ability to mix and match tyre compunds mirroring real wolrld rally strategy.

Tyre selection becomes a critical component of performance as weather evolves dynamically throughout the stage.

The new update will introduce also 40 new ACR events along with several improvements and fixes, for further info check here
